Fisher Towers after the storm
Who said that great photographs are the result of painstaking labor and years of effort? While I will not put that down, I also suspect that luck can play an important roll! This shot was the result of being in the right place at the right time, and naturally with good equipment. I was driving north out of Moab one evening when I got caught in a thunderstorm. It was just breaking up as I drove past Fisher Towers and a glorious double rainbow framed the towers. The effect of the rainbow with the washed out area on the inside and the dense color saturation between the two arcs is textbook.
